Olen Steinhauer's Espionage Goes to Film

A note in the New York Times book review section of August 15 reveals that Olen Steinhauer's terrific post-9/11 espionage trilogy is headed to Hollywood: George Clooney's production company has picked up rights to first of Steinhauer's trilogy, The Tourist. Clooney himself is scheduled to play agent Milo Weaver. Amazing!

Here's the link to the full-length note. It's a companion to Steinhauer's review in the same issue of the newest Martin Cruz Smith (his 7th), Three Stations.
