Today was the finale of the Festival and Conference on Poetry -- the 31st one at the Frost Place in Franconia, NH.
Here's a snippet from Cornelius Eady's craft lecture this morning.
"You get your influences -- they feed you, they nourish you, they don't turn to demons if you're lucky -- but at a certain point, it's you behind it all."
Strategic planning/board meeting for the Frost Place, all day Sunday. Send good thoughts our way as we plan for a sustained future for this heart-deep set of programs and the home and land where Robert Frost and his family lived at the most significant turning point of his career.
I'll be back to reviews by Monday.
