The best-laid plans ... you know the rest. Here's a photo that Dave captured of Edgar Award-winning author Eliot Pattison as he read aloud here yesterday evening from PRAYER OF THE DRAGON, his fifth book in the Inspector Shan series set in Chinese occupied Tibet. A generous and well-read crowd gathered to meet the author and ask questions. I'll write it all up tomorrow -- today got "hijacked" by other time requests.
For those hungry for news of book six, Pattison revealed he'd written the last page on Thursday night. And he was headed for a quiet place in Maine to begin the second book in his BONE RATTLER sequence. Hurrah!
